Role: Architect

Principal: Andrew Osterlund

Project Manager: Rebecca Rhine

Consultants: Crawford Sprinkler, Maple Engineering, Schneider Structural Engineers

Project Description:

A new multi-use office, retail, and townhome building located in the heart of Holly Springs’ Main Street Square community.  The overall design includes office space at the walk-out basement, retail and restaurant accommodations at the ground level, and three two-story townhouses above.  Care was taken while developing the site design with consideration given to the change in topography and the existing conditions and regulations within the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO).   An innovative use of materials [atypically used in this area] include insulated concrete formwork (ICF) for the exterior load-bearing walls, the interior demising walls, floor, and roof systems.  This use of materials ensures the comfort for each end user who occupies this building.
